I've been to Restaurante Bartolomeu several times, but I was surprised (badly) on my last visit. The atmosphere is very calm and organized and the service is good with attentive waiters. But the dish I ordered to try (Shrimp Crate) was a real disappointment. The dish does not match the standard of the restaurant and its value. The cream is abundant in olives and hearts of palm (which steal the flavor) and the shrimp are tiny and in small quantities, which you have to keep looking for in the middle of the cream. Furthermore, it doesn't serve 3 people as well as described. Other people ordered spaghetti with shrimp and in this dish the shrimp were bigger. I asked the waiter why there was a difference in the size of the shrimp between the dishes, as they had practically the same values and his justification was that the shrimp had reduced due to the cooking time of the dish, which was larger. But it was obvious that the shrimp were different sizes. So, if you want to eat a well-served shrimp dish, DON'T ORDER THE SHRIMP BOX. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos at the time.
