My besties and I had the pleasure of having lunch there on Saturday and everything was wonderful. The mimosa tower was a beautiful start to our lunch. The ceviche, shrimp and grits, ropa vieja hash, chicken and waffles, as well as the Biscoff French toast were all simply devine. Both owners, Andre and Melissa were very friendly and ensured that we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I came on a busy night the staff super friendly and kind. I wasn't hungry so I got a cesar salad. I know it's a carribbean inspired resturant but this was the strangest cesar I ever had. There was no parmasean and the dressing tasted sweet. Very strange with the peppers too. But my party enjoyed their food. Staff were great and accomadating though. Nice mood set inside Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

We made a reservation through OpenTable, but when we arrived at our scheduled time, it did not show up in their system. We showed the hostess the reservation, and she handled it with ease. She said, “No problem,” and seated us on the bar side. We were hoping for the dining room, but it was fully booked, so we made it work. Everything we ordered was delicious, the lobster fried rice, plantains, fish and shrimp tacos, Caesar salad, shrimp empanadas, and chicken skewers. Later in the evening, a DJ came in, and the music was at the perfect volume. The vibe was lively, but we could still have a real conversation without yelling across the table. One of the lobster fried rice orders was supposed to be prepared without egg, but it came out with egg. Our waiter apologized sincerely, and a fresh order came out quickly, which we really appreciated. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere felt good, and the overall experience was definitely worth it. A friend from New York was in town, so I was glad they loved it too and we got to show off Detroit a little bit. I’ll definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
