See Watanabe Clinic by default, the clients' piece of advice is to come to this bar as well. The success of Bar潮 wouldn't be possible without the patient staff. There is nice atmosphere at this place. Google users are quite generous with this spot: it was granted 4.5 stars.

This is one of furano’s oldest bars!!! Ushio bar has been here for 60 years and Gen San is a whisky specialist and has a large selection of whiskys, as well as other drinks. There is a cover charge which is to be expected in a snack bar, Gen San always lets customers know this is additional to the drinks. He has great customer service and loves to share his passion of whisky with everyone. Gen san even barrel ages his own spirits. This is a must visit historical bar when in Furano . Great selection of booze, mostly scotch. Excellent vibe and service. Be sure to try some of the barrel aged stuff that the owner, Gen, has made himself -- quite affordable and delicious. If you like Star Wars, Gen can talk to you all day about it! Note: Table charge of JPY1000/person. Also, smoking is allowed inside.
