So sad to hear that Basilico has closed. We are devastated. Our family has been going there for over 20 years. The Calamari Genovese was the best Calamari in town, after we moved out of the area we would drive in from Lake in the Hills for it. My 19 year old daughter has been going there with us since her birth and is so crushed to hear the news. Her all-time favorite meal was the Calamari. We were planning take out for Mothers Day :-( Thank you for the many years of amazing food and even more amazing service. You will be sadly missed.

We have eaten at Basilico Ristorante many times over the years. Without a doubt, the food and the service was Excellent, as usual. I had the veal; it was fresh and tasty, it came with a side of pasta, which also was fantastic. My wife had the Risotto, and she loved it... cooked just right. The prices are all well within reason for the area. I would gladly recommend this restaurant to friends, family and everyone.
