In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame, stop by this restaurant. Do not go away without enjoying nicely cooked croquettes, belly pork and vietnamese chicken. It's nice to taste delicious ice tea or great thai tea.

Most visitors mention that the staff is friendly. The spectacular service is a great advantage of Basquenese. Fair prices are what you are to pay for your meal. It's a good place with the peaceful atmosphere. As for the Google rating, this place got 4.5.

Basquenese is one of the coolest places to eat in Boise, and Mason and Mia are a huge part of what makes it so special. As a big foodie, I can honestly say this place has everything I crave. I could eat here seven days a week and never get tired of it. The fusion of Vietnamese and Basque cuisine is incredible. Every dish is packed with bold flavors, creative combinations, and ingredients that just work together. Whether you’re looking for something comforting or adventurous, there’s something on the menu you’ll love. This is truly a hidden gem tucked inside the food hall in downtown Boise. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants, and Basquenese sits at the very top of my list. If you’re anywhere near Boise, do yourself a favor and give it a try—you won’t regret it. I had the Hangry Banh Mi today and it was amazing. It’s half BBQ char-siu pork and half crispy pork belly with lots of cucumbers, jalapenos, cilantro, pickled carrots and onions. All piled on a great toasted baguette. The meat was delicious and the serving size was huge. When I picked it up I thought there was no way I could eat it all but it was so good I was able to finish it. The chef and assistant were very friendly. Highly recommend this place! Locally made basque chorizo offered on a sandwich or loaded on fries. Flavors were abundant and I was satisfied at first bite. Cool warehouse space with bars and other food options with live music. Enjoyable! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
