Batavia is a fantastic hidden gem near Buford Highway for Indonesian food. My lady and I love discovering great eats, and after seeing Batavia featured on another Instagram post, we decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed browsing the small market, which was a nice touch. On our first visit, my lady ordered the mackerel, and Yolanda kindly recommended the lamb soup for me. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and her suggestion was spot on — the lamb soup was outstanding. We loved it so much that we came back the very next week! This was my first experience with Indonesian cuisine, and it definitely won’t be my last. I’m excited to try more dishes, though that lamb soup will be hard to top! :-D Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
