rude, poorly trained waiters pretty good food dinner felt rushed unprofessional plating overall a bad dining experience for this price point + 22% mandatory tip on a 2-person table We celebrated our joint birthday at Jeffry's and we had a bad experience. We had 2 waiters and the main asian guy was kinda rude. His blue apron was pretty dirty. Cut me off twice when we ordered, very impatient. I was just asking if they had the old steak sauce and he seemed annoyed because many people ask about it and explained they had a change of ownership and it was not profitable serving many different types of dry aged steaks. But hey dude, I don't care. I just wanted to know if they still have the old sauce. The other waiter asked us if we are done with the plate when we were clearly mid chewing and the plate had half the steak left. Also we got only 1 water refill throughout the meal and got water splashed onto me. The host who checked us in was delightful though. The filet mignon, chicken liver pate, and shallot tatin were great, especially the shallot tatin - highly recommend. The filet mignon is too salty for me and generally the chinese/cantonese palette. The filet mignon plate was a mess - quite a bit of wet meat juice and residue pooled over the edges. Unappetizing, poor & unprofessional plating. The wedge was overdressed. 2 of the 3 burgers we received were good (B-rating), relish was the star of the burger! One was too salty (C/D-rating). If you’re paying $27 for a burger, you would hope it’s seasoned right. Wouldn’t say the burgers are worth the hype or cost. Rolls were good but not worth $10. The grated radish with oysters were great and very unique! Automatic 22% service charge is kind of crazy for rushed service. Price per person: $100+ Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
