UPDATE April 2024 Been there with a friend who does not speak English, but speaks Georgian and Russian. She asked the waitress if she understands Georgian or Russian. The waitress does not understand Georgian, does understand Russian, but she will not take order in Russian. Only English. Here we are, a tolerant European city, yet, speaking your language is not tolerated. I do not think discrimination on language should be supported. ___ They do not accept amex ‍ Quite small place, offers Georgian essentials and wine from Georgia, the country. Lovely motherland memory :) Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

**A Georgian Gem in the Heart of Amsterdam** We had the pleasure of dining at Batoni Khinkali, a high-quality establishment nestled in an affluent neighborhood of Amsterdam. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance captivated me. The decor strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, creating an atmosphere that's both upscale and welcoming. It's clear that the owner has poured his heart and soul into every detail, from the lighting to the music, crafting an environment that complements the culinary journey. The service at is nothing short of exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel like honored guests rather than just customers. Their recommendations for both food and wine were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food – the star of the show. Each dish was a revelation, showcasing the rich and robust flavors of Georgian cuisine. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the presentation was immaculate. Every bite was a delightful exploration of taste and texture, leaving us longing for more.
