A friend and I always look for good German food when we travel. This year we visited Reno and visited Bavarian World. We were not disappointed. The sausages, sauerkraut and red cabbage were very good. There is a very good selection of pastries in the adjoining bakery, and the items I selected were fresh, moist and flakey. The staff was also very friendly and courteous. Even before visiting the restaurant, we asked a couple of cabbies if they heard of Bavarian World. They commented that the locals really enjoy the place, and even knew right where the restaurant is. If you are visiting the Reno area and looking for a good place to eat, take the time and fine Bavarian World. And if you live in Reno, please check it out, you'll be glad you did!
