Bea was probably the best dining experience we had in 2020, albeit we didn’t have many outside the confines of our home, it was a lasting enough impression that felt like it was worth the wait. The food was excellent back to front and the whole duck is a dish I think about so often that I’d no doubt be back for that dish alone.
Whether it may have been the birthday vibes, the feel goods from the Somm or the company; it was a meal that brought friends together and made us enjoy the moment, share laughs and made us all the more grateful for being able to share good food and wine together. And isn’t that what hospitality is really about

This was the first time we‘ve been to this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, only the hostess was kind to us. Others made it clear they were uncomfortable or even afraid of us. The waiter asked us about our order in a way that conveyed he didn’t think we could afford it. We placed our order quickly because the waiter said the kitchen was closing. It was 12:30pm, the restaurant opened at noon. We finished quickly and prepared to leave, and before giving us the bill, the waiter asked if we wanted dessert. Really? You just said the kitchen was closing when we placed our entrees. Not a good experience at all, we will not be back.

I reckon this place is pretty overpriced for what you get. Nevertheless, the food is pretty good. However the portions are not generous at all. I loved the raw oysters - very fresh and delicious. The prawns were also nicely cooked. If portions were bigger or prices were cheaper this place would be even better.
