Ignore other places, discover the British menu at this cafe. Nicely cooked crabs, coleslaw and crab sandwiches are the tastiest dishes. Cooks at The Beachcomber Cafe do their best to provide visitors with good fruit scones, strawberry pancakes and waffles. A lot of visitors order delicious wine or good beer. Great latte, smoothies or tea are what may make you return to this place.
This spot is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Tasty dishes at fair prices are provided here. You will definitely like the cozy atmosphere and nice decor. Google gives it 4.4 so you can select this cafe to have a good time here.

Can’t describe how belittled we felt when entering for a family sit down lunch and coffee with 6 of us, 1 dog and one person in a wheelchair. Granted it was busy but we walked in and made ourselves known to staff who said they’d be a minute and we even stood by a dirty table, cleared the plates up for staff and waited for it to be cleaned until a clean table came free in the main part of the restaurant. All the while a big group of 10 came in after us and looked as though manager bent over backwards to accommodate them, moving tables and chairs for them. But for h’us? We weren’t even allowed to move 1 chair so we could sit round one table and even told us he couldn’t accommodate us. We were so shocked and embarrassed at how he spoke to us we didn’t even speak up there but feel that this treatment was so improper and unprofessional to make us feel so discriminated against. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp to get in but don’t expect any hospitality or an effort to make you feel comfortable. Meal type: Other Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Always a pleasure to go here - so friendly and nice latte . Sadly this will be closing for rebuild on 2 November 2024 but hopefully the Beachcomber Cafe will open again as soon as possible - bigger and better Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
