This review serves as a warning. I was looking forward to eating non fast food fried chicken. Unfortunately, this did not happen. When I went in on Friday around 5:45 the waitress was happy to take my payment for two fried chicken and waffle orders. However, after I sat down to wait for my order, I was told that they were out of chicken and waffles, along with two other items on their four item menu. Apparently, their business model is that they are open until 7 pm (or until they run out of chicken.) Thankfully, they refunded me, but you shouldn’t run a fried chicken restaurant if you don’t have fried chicken for customers that come in. If you know you will be busier on Friday, it seems sensible to ensure you have more food prepped for your busiest day of the week. Who knows, it might have been good enough that we would have come back again. Disappointing.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time recently. We were amazed at the portion size and the quality of the food. We both got the chicken sandwich and shared fries. Neither one of us could finish our Sandwich- let alone the side order of fries. We loved the fact that the sandwich was so fresh and juicy and that the chicken was well seasoned. I also loved the creaminess of the gravy! I would love to bring family and friends back here to try out some of their other menu options.

Everyone talks about the taste of the food. Well taste does not in any way make up for their service. I went in with my boyfriend for lunch at 12:05 to order. There were already several people in front of me who had not received there food. Working downtown, I get a 40 minute lunch break. I asked how long the wait was and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. While waiting people were receiving the wrong food, the kitchen staff was unorganized, and in this window only 2 people received their order. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked how long of a wait it would be and then they said we still 2 orders before ours. After 25 minutes of waiting, I asked for my money back. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was for this reason. I understand it was a lunch rush but this was ridiculous. I have eaten here before when it was slower. The food was good but by far not worth the wait.
