I'm all for healthy eating especially when it comes to food for the kids but healthy food doesn't do any good when you can't get the kids to actually eat it. This place is specifically targeted for kids yet they use a dry whole-wheat bread. I would be perfectly fine with that but no matter how much peanut butter you put on it, a kid is just not going to like that bread. They have a waffle pizza that sounds great in theory but fails on so many levels in execution. I really think they need to reconceptualize their menu.

Are you a red-blooded American who wants nothing more than a child who will enjoy the sweet taste of Wonder Bread...yet are cursed by offspring who insist on eating healthy, gluten-free food? Finally, a restaurant that provides an answer for your trouble by offering a child-oriented menu centering on gluten-free waffles that will put your kids off of whole grains for the rest of their natural lives. I try to stick to a gluten-free diet myself, so I am no stranger to the trade-offs you have to make in order to avoid wheat. But these waffles go way beyond the bounds of reasonable toleration. They are flat, flavorless (which is one thing most whole grain options avoid) and have a really unpleasant texture. My kid refused to eat more than two bites, which was one more bite than I was going to put up with myself. The best thing I can say for this place is that the piece of celery that came as a garnish was very fresh and crisp. So if you are willing to pay six dollars for a lousy, inedible waffle sandwich just to get a decent piece of celery, you have come to the right place.

Bean Sprouts is a small food court restaurant near the Space Needle.  The restaurant seems to cater to kids.  There are several kids' entrees that feature food in the design of different animals.   For adults, the focus seems to be organic health food.  I had a vegetarian sandwich with roast vegetables, hummus, and lettuce.  It was really well done. The service, however, was very slow, and at around noon (pre-lunch rush), they were already out of their soup, and both of their specialty drinks. I think this is a great place for parents who are looking for healthy options for their kids in a food court setting, just don't expect the food will be prepared quickly, and be ready to have a 2nd or 3rd choice prepared when you're ordering.
