Standard British pub fare elevated to the nth degree. I had the roast beef Sunday dinner. The beef was tender and flavorful, the yorkshire pudding was perfect and the vegetable sides were cooked perfectly. Chris, our server, knew the menu inside and out and his recommendations were absolutely on point. The sticky toffee pudding is not just "good" it's "lick the plate" good. My wife and I shared one and I only got three bites before she pulled the plate over to her side and cut me off. Don't make my mistake, order your own dessert. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here yesterday for a burger popup event. Our waiter was pretty rude. When asking simple questions he showed quite the attitude. We asked him if we could have a certain doneness of the patties and it clearly bothered him. We were fine that the answer was that that’s not really something they can control, but instead of gracefully and kindly telling us that, he showed frustration that we even asked. I made clear my wife and I wanted to split a salad with her, and he just plopped it in between us. When I asked if we could at least have an extra plate, he was unresponsive and clearly felt put out and upset I was even asking. When I accidentally ordered the wrong item, falling on my sword and saying “it’s my fault, I can just take this one home but I want the other one” he glared and me and heatedly just put in the other order. The person at the door and the other female server were wonderful and very friendly and accommodating. I don’t understand why our waiter was treating us so poorly. The 3 of us walked away feeling disrespected. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

The best dinner I've had in longer than I can remember. It was written up in the New York Times as one of the 10 best new entrees and it is well deserved. The Lamb Korma Pie is beyond delicious. We started with the pea salad, not like any pea salad you've ever had, again delish and had the roasted vegetables with the pie. For dessert, we had the stickey toffee pudding with Chantilly cream. Too die for. It's a British classic. Better than many places I've had it in London. We split everything and still had leftovers, except for the stickey toffee pudding.
