New Bern Fireman's Museum is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this cafe after long walks. Many people visit Bebop's Cafe to taste mouthwatering blt, greek salads and bacon. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, waiters offer good cupcakes here. Delicious latte, smoothies or tea are among the most popular drinks at this place.
This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A lot of guests mention that prices are attractive for what you receive. At this cafe, visitors can enjoy the lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor. Bebop's Cafe has achieved 4 on the Trip site.

From Bebop's to the new owner Bella's (*disclaimer: prior to the new ownership of Bebop's the atmosphere was friendlier). Now, as Bella's Catering...it is less to be desired. Several of the locals, as well as my personal thoughts, who have known the cafe under the prior owner - it was enjoyable, service with a smile and supportive. If the attitude does not change soon, then I recommend supporting another coffee place.

I asked for 2 extra shots of espresso to my white chocolate mocha they "gave me" 2 total. I took a sip and the drink taste like a warm hot chocolate without a hint of coffee. I had my lady taste it too she said the same. So I turned around went into the store and asked them if they added the espresso they said they did and didn't do anything more for me. I drove 45 minutes away just to visit my beloved coffee shop. This place must be under new ownership because I've never had a bad experience till now. I will never return to here.

I am writing this review with deep despair. When my husband and I moved here 3 years ago this place was called Bear City Java, that was high priced and not very good. But then it was bought and called Sweet Peas. It was an odd name but the coffee was the best coffee ever and the food was amazing (fresh & yummy). After a year or so it was then bought by BeBop's Cafe. Everything changed, which happens but not in a good way. The food we noticed first. It was gross and not fresh anymore. The pastries weren't as nice either. Then it was the decor, they put up odd family pictures and painted the walls that were just painted a beautiful teal, white. Then the staff changed. Teenagers that were not working, lazy and not doing much of anything. There are only 2 younger people that work there that were from Sweet Peas (lady & gentlemen), they are amazing hard workers, which basically showed me and my husband that they do all the work while the others complain and look like they are super confused. Then the coffee changed and the quality of the product & how they make it. It is awful. Just tried my 'usual' and it wasn't even close. I have tried to make BeBops (I realize it is a family name, but it doesn't make sense to the area and is confusing because it doesn't even sound like a cafe) work but I don't go anymore at all. I used to be a regular. Spending 20-50$ there per week. SO now I go to books-a-million and get normal coffee. I really tried this place since the new owners took over but the young staff, food, and coffee decline is it for our family. I gave it 2 stars and not 1 because of the two workers that actually do work and made good coffee once upon a time. Very sad. BUT it usually changes hands every couple years and maybe I'll check back next year.
