This is a great find! Quality inexpensive food. Pat loves their catfish. I like their burgers, wraps and taco salad. Ice cream is also good. We can eat for less than $20 most times. Friendly staff too! Hours are only M-S til 5. No nights or Sundays.

Great Diner Food. Reviewed a couple of years ago...this place is one of Amarillo's hidden Gem's that ought to be on Food Network's Diners, Driveins and Dives. Today I ordered the Sliders off the kids menu...had them before but today asked that green chiles be added along with Swiss cheese. They came out on Cibatta buns...yum..perfectly cooked with grilled onions and tomatoes and tater tots...did I say a plump nicely grilled chunk of ground beef. Must have looked like Guy Fieri eating it cause it was juicy! YUMMY..Marvelous...they have so many good things on their menu...crispy catfish...great salads so huge that you have enough for supper when you order one for lunch. But I can guarantee, these Sliders are going to be one of my top choices when their Special ($5.50 including your drink if you're over 62) isn't my choice of the day. And be sure to stop by early on Wednesdays for lunch to order a piece of homemade pie...like grandma used to make. It goes fast. You'll get to know the staff and the other "regulars" here quickly...we're a friendly bunch that love the food here.

REALLY Good Food!. And it's at SUCH good prices too! If you're 62 or over, you get a good discount! The food is all homemade...or it tastes like it is, which is refreshing these days! The home-fries and onion rings are .... and I hate the phrase.. to die for... but they're really yummy! If you go on Wednesdays, there's homemade pies! The chicken fried steak is HUGE, as another reviewer said the chicken strips are great! Am looking forward to cool weather when soups are back. There are daily specials where you get tons of food with a drink for a bargain price! There are few places left in town where you can get great food at bargain prices with friendly service too! Jackson Square Grill is one of the best places to eat in Amarillo...it's a real blessing to the folks who live close enough to walk to have a great meal and visit together in an old-fashioned "diner" setting! Just wish they served breakfast! And maybe stayed open later. Thanks, folks for being there!!!!
