Very friendly contact during the registration process and throughout the entire stay. Very good value for money. The rooms were inviting, the kitchen highly recommended at fair prices. Highly recommended accommodation in a central but quiet location with free parking (with charging station) right next to the house. Rooms: The room was very clean, friendly, quiet and had very good beds. The bathroom is friendly and modern. Walkability: The Kolpinghaus is within walking distance of the city center, the train station and the festival hall Food & drinks: There is a very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, super nice and attentive staff. The rooms have been attractively renovated. Good, varied food including vegetarian options at a good price. The breakfast is plentiful and good. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

Leaving aside the disastrous service, we had really bad food with a large group. I would describe a sliced meat, mind you for over €20, with canned mushrooms, almost 40 peppercorns (no, you can't taste anything other than pepper), a touch of meat and floury spaetzle as OK in any canteen for €5. So you just felt cheated. It was nice, however, that the waitress knocked over drinks on the table, neither apologized nor offered a replacement and simply put Zewa towels on the table for us.
