Once the promenade around the Old Castle (Stari Grad) is over, visit Bedem. Croatian cuisine can be served here. It's time to try perfectly cooked soup, duck breast and chicken. You will be offered good chocolate mousse and tasty ice cream.

The wine list is extensive, every guest can find something that satisfies their taste. Some visitors like great coffee at this restaurant. I was on a hunt for Michelline star or guide restaurant, that's why I tried Bedem. I had fish in pastery with roasted veggies which was good but veggies were overcooked, too oily and too salty. The dessert was the highlight of the menu, I selected pumpkin Icecream with pumpkin oil and pumpkin seeds. Creative. Natural and tasty. Overpriced and bad, we got food poisoning from their chicken with mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. Waitresses are nice, but you go there for food… never again!
