After seeing Marmaris Atlantis Waterpark, come here for a meal. Take a break and degust nicely cooked pasta, sushi and rolls. Musicians perform live music in the evening. The accommodating staff meets you at this restaurant all year round. Spectacular service is something guests agree upon here. Prices at The DOOR are worth attention since they're good. An absolutely terrible experience. To start with, we waited about 40 minutes for the sashimi and rolls. Just by looking at them, it was obvious the fish wasn't fresh—it had clearly seen better days... the tuna looked like beef... We didn't even touch the food. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, they simply offered a 10% discount (deducting the cost of the mojito); after we asked them to remove the fish from the bill, they gave us another 10% off. In the end, we paid 3,000 liras for this crap. Guys, spare your stomachs and your nerves. This shit isn't worth it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

They assumed we were foreigners, so at first a foreign waiter tried to assist us, but he could barely understand anything we were saying. The attitude and level of attention from the other waiters were also quite poor. They told us the octopus would be grilled, but what arrived was not grilled at all. In fact, I can say it was the worst octopus I’ve ever eaten. Ironically, three weeks ago we had a different octopus dish here that has since been removed from the menu, and it was actually excellent. They didn’t have canned Coke, and the Cokes they brought in glass bottles were warm. We also asked for an ashtray, but they forgot about it and it arrived very late. This used to be a place we visited often, but after this experience, we don’t think we’ll be coming back again. Price per person: ₺2,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

My boyfriend and I visited The Door twice during our stay in Marmaris, and it was outstanding both times. For the price, portion sizes, and variety on offer, we were genuinely blown away. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are just as impressive, made perfectly by a lovely barman who was as friendly as he was skilled—they were definitely the best cocktails I had during my stay in Marmaris. The staff are incredibly kind, and their attentive, friendly, and quick service is a real asset to the restaurant and made our visits even more enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone.
