Finding a restaurant in Aomori without a reservation was so hard that we almost gave up. Based on our experience, the locals were hesitant to accept non-Japanese speakers, so when we came here and asked for a table for two and the owner said yes, I almost cried. I was hungry and tired, and someone accepting us was such a relief. We arrived late, so some of their food was sold out, but the fried rice, the karaage chicken, and the skewers we ordered were all delicious. This place has a very special place in my heart, and if I ever come back to Aomori, I will visit again. Thank you so much! Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

3 of us had a great dinner at Begin izakaya. Small 14 seat izakaya just steps off the Main Street. A friendly guy was our waiter and cook with help from his wife. There was a large selection of dishes and sticks and there was an English menu. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
