It must be made clear here that you cannot compare the restsurant with the hotel. The food in the restaurant is very tasty, the staff is very nice and helpful... The hotel and its rooms are not clean, a lot of things are broken, carelessly prepared, more like a flophouse. When we arrived I could still hear the cleaning lady in the next room. I went to her and asked her if she was ready with us yet. She said yes and I said that certainly couldn't be the case. I sometimes showed her the “smooth corners” at the bottom of the shower and other things. She said it was just the plastic. This was not the case. When we came back later it wasn't really any better. The shower head was dirty, the shower rod wasn't secure, the floor was dirty, the door frame was full of dirt stains, more hand soap wasn't refilled but was just put on the sink. The room wasn't lovingly prepared; my daughter would have done better with the bed. Silverfish were also guests. However, the very best was yet to come. The next morning we and the other visitors wanted to have breakfast. Everything was dark and closed. There was no breakfast, which we had booked. Some visitors had already left. I called the operator directly, he apologized and said that his employee had probably overslept. I doubt that anyone alone would have been responsible for breakfast. I told him on the phone that I expected him to get in touch with us. He didn't do that the next week. I had to write a complaint email. I described everything (as stated above) and demanded some money back for breakfast and for such a desolate room. If you book breakfast separately, it costs 18.50 euros per person. There were two of us. We then received 25.00 euros back and an apology. We paid 95.00 euros in total. We then drove to friends from Gladbeck who had recommended the Beisenbusch to us and had a cozy and good breakfast there for our wedding anniversary. Our friends were very ashamed of the recommendation. You, as an operator, should do the same!! Rooms: See above Food & drinks: Good and tasty in the restaurant.
