After looking at Main Street, have a meal at BEJAS Grill & Cantina. If you have never come across Mexican cuisine, you should reserve a table and try the menu at this restaurant. BEJAS Grill & Cantina serves nicely cooked enchiladas, coconut shrimps and fried chicken. Tasty biscuits and good French toasts are the best dishes. Here you can drink delicious margaritas, beer or wine. Take your chance to taste great coffee.
Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The terrific staff welcomes guests all year round. Fine service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this place. According to the guests' opinions, prices are democratic. Most of the time, this spot provides you with the exotic atmosphere. But google users haven't given this restaurant a high rating.

Stopped in yesterday since the atmosphere looked inviting and was seated right away. Our waitress was friendly at first & brought us waters to start, but then promptly forgot about us. The kitchen brought out our food (totally fine) and it did not look or taste like it was worth more than $5. The fish was dry, the rice tasted like it came out of a bag & the chicken strips were all bread. Our waitress didn't return to bring us more water until our meal was completed. The bathrooms were disgusting with water and pee all over the floor. Will not return & do not recommend.

The day (mid-afternoon, mid-week, between Christmas and New Year) that we visited this restaurant, things seemed to in utter chaos. Granted, Fredericksburg is always a ridiculously busy place anyway, but one would expect that a business that hopes to remain in business would adapt to their environment. The host was assigning 45-60 minute wait times and then apparently completely disregarding the que created by their electronic booking system. We returned after waiting the designated time, but never did receive the text notification. We only got seated after approaching the host and politely asking what was the status of our table given that his booking system still showed 9 parties still ahead of us in line. He looked at me in an exasperated manner and just said "come on". Upon entering the restaurant it quickly became apparent that they were only utilizing half the seating at any time. The host said it was so they did not overwhelm the kitchen. I also observed that same host bussing tables, which seemed like a really poor use of his time, given the abundance of wait staff on hand. Our waitress (Elly, I think) was really awesome and I made sure my tip reflected my appreciation for her attentiveness. She took our orders promptly and kept glasses filled, but then we waited about another 30 minutes or so for the food to arrive from the kitchen. The presentation and flavor on my chicken enchiladas was awesome, but the side of black beans arrived cold. When Elly brought me a replacement, they were cold also. The shrimp tacos received a favorable review, but the pulled pork/carnitas tacos were so salty as to not be palatable. Just not worth the wait, and not worth the price. Sorry, not sorry. We won't return here.

Awesome place great food try the Quatro appetizer had the beef tenderloin tacos phenomenal ..you need to drink the jalapeño cucumber martini WOW ! The food took a while which means it's fresh made food All in all 5+ stars !!!!
