After seeing Devonian Gardens, it may be a nice idea to visit this restaurant. Fusion cuisine is to guests' taste here. Belgo may please you with amazing tapas. Although you should keep in mind that google rated this place and it received a below average rating.
Good tuna. I had the tuna with succotash for lunch and it was good after my initial reaction to the presentation was bad. I had bites with the chowder/cruchy chip all together and I really enjoyed it.
The appies were really good too. The pork ribs, the wings and the nachos were all really good. The service was hit and miss but overall it was a great lunch meal.
Great food but poor service. Visited Belgo on a team event for breakfast. Got seated towards the back. Initial service was good, but things slowly fell apart after that, on the service side of things. Food was very good - we all enjoyed our dishes (a lot of us had variations on the eggs Bennies). But after the food was dropped off, we never saw the wait staff again. Three bucks for coffee and not even a single refill over the entire hour we were there for breakfast. Are you kidding me?
I asked towards the end if there were no refills on the coffee, and was told "we are swamped". Well, it seems like this is a regular excuse there, judging from other reviews and people I know who have gone there. I told the waitress that I didn't expect to see the coffee on the bill, because no refills over the course of a breakfast is simply unacceptable, especially when you are charging $3/cup (and they aren't big cups). She looked pissed off, but did remove the coffee. Our tip wasn't exactly up to par, I can tell you that - we tipped for the food, not the service.
So - word to the management - put more staff on! Your girls look great in their little black dresses, but that doesn't count for jack if you can't deliver some half decent level of service. Your kitchen is doing a great job, but your wait staff is letting them down big time.
