Some places just don’t need to change The location alone is worth the visit-quiet paths, greenery, a little river running alongside. Genuinely lovely spot for a stroll before or after dinner. I hadn’t been in nearly 20 years. Walked in, sat down, and it felt like nothing had moved-and I mean that as a compliment. The food is exactly as I remembered: consistently good, no pretension. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the Napoleon cake was outstanding-possibly the highlight of the meal. Some restaurants chase trends. This one just gets on with it. Respect. Bellagio chefs - sorry your food is not great. Fish platter with langoustine, there is only prawns and some cured slice salmon & smthg else. Worst while we are still working on our appetiser, our pasta and pizza arrived. Mind you we weren’t slow eater.
Would really prefer that food up at Chalet up at Shimbulak ski village but they were closed. ????
