Belleville Ale House is a delightful place. It's homey and cozy, decorated with cool odds and ends like vintage breweriana and taxidermy. It's a nice place to relax and chat with the friendly folks that hang out there.
Sometimes there's live music on the weekends, there's a nice shuffleboard table and darts too. Food isn't always available, but the owner was a chef once and sometime whips up a big batch of something on the weekends. The last time here, he made gumbo and cornbread, and it was great.
Beer selection is nice, drafts are all local WI craft beers, plus the usual stuff in bottles. Unlikely gem of a place, makes a nice quick getaway from New Glarus if overrun with tourists.
