Just stopped by to pick up some of my favorite Brunswick stew while I was in the area they were busy at the time had a wide selection of specials and their full menu everybody was happy they all seem to be well taken care of and I got my stew and blackberry cobbler rather quickly and was on my way I always stop by and pick up some Brunswick stew when I'm in the area and if I have time then I'll stay and have a meal and take stew home Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Fried Chicken Dinner

Let me start this by saying I really recommend you stop into Bell's for food. Not only was the food delicious but the service was also great. Cheap food as well. I read about this place in the book The Valley of Death where the author talks about the generosity of Mr Bell after the tragic Toccoa Falls flood. I asked at the restaurant and Mr Bell is still around. "Jimmie Bell is one of those special people whom I'll never forget. Not because he fed us food, but because he fed us with the sort of love and kindness which we so desperately needed at that time to feel comforted, and to feel as if we were really alive. He made a genuine attempt to understand our needs at a time when nothing in our world was stable and he showed us that we would be able to put life back together when we weren't sure we ever could. I'll never forget Jimmie Bell of Bell's Drive-in Restaurant in Toccoa, Georgia.
