Boteco Belmonte in Jardim Botânico is a true Rio oasis of flavors and joy, where the tradition of Brazilian cuisine meets a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rustic and cozy decor at Boteco Belmonte is reminiscent of traditional Rio bars, with wooden tables, iron chairs and paintings on the walls. The staff is attentive and helpful, always willing to help with choosing dishes and drinks. The waiters are friendly and efficient, ensuring impeccable service that makes the experience even more pleasant. Boteco's menu is vast, with a variety of snacks typical of Brazilian cuisine. On my visit for lunch I ordered the Brazilian Chorizo, where the meat was cooked to the right point and extremely tender. Belmonte offers one of the best draft beers in Rio de Janeiro, always cold and served at the right point. The caipirinhas are also delicious, made with fresh fruit and quality cachaça. It is located in a privileged area of the Botanical Garden, close to the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport. I warmly recommend Belmonte to everyone who wants to have an authentic and delicious gastronomic experience in Rio de Janeiro. It's a perfect place to go with friends, family or couple.
