I am not big on breakfast but when I do indulge I would like a nice hot meal with phenomenal service. If you are looking for that, this is not the place. The Chai Latte was nice and hot with great flavor. My poached egg came cold, not a fan of a cold egg yolk. Server was friendly enough but when I mentioned to her that my water smelled fishy, which I didn't realize in my first few sips, (turns my stomach thinking about what I was consuming) she said oh they must have taken it out of the washer too soon, it's a mixture of bleach and soap smell, she said. WHAT??!! First of all why would they pull glasses from a wash cycle that was not complete.... Now if you like sardines for breakfast great, but I do not like drinking water that smells like the penguin exhibit at the Como Zoo. I am not Sparky the Seal. Nothing was offered to compensate for my less than excellent breakfast experience, not even an apology, just a bogus excuse for the fishy water smell. If you want an excellent breakfast in Rochester MN, Grandma's Kitchen is your place, not Benedict's. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
