Amazing food! The Bao Buns are fantastic! We got chicken, cucumber, scallions, and sesame seeds with teriyaki sauce. The Ramen bowl is huge, and absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The Habanero ramen was so good and my wife had a bento box. My only critique would be that the fried rice was a little bland, but other than that everything was great. The server even ran out to our car before we left to bring us a coupon for our next visit that we left in the table. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were in the mood for Asian, and Shokudo Kitchen was one of the only Asian places available for delivery on DoorDash. We ordered the hell's kitchen bento box with shrimp (sides of Asian mashed potatoes, seaweed salad, brussel sprouts), salt and pepper pork belly bento box (sides of power greens, cucumbers, yum yum slaw), bulgogi nachos, tofu bao, kimchi bulgogi bao, bibimbap, and boba. The good: bibimbap and bulgogi nachos. I was surprised by how much I liked the nachos actually - 3 sauces worked well with each other, bulgogi was tender, and the wontons were crispy and a good vehicle for all the toppings. Bibimbap was actually tasty as well. I liked the sauce that came with it, and the egg was cooked well. The meh: both bento boxes and the baos. The hell's kitchen sauce had a good spice, but the shrimp looked very obviously pre-frozen. Seaweed salad was good, the brussel sprouts were hit and miss (some were very bitter), and the Asian mashed potatoes were terrible. I've had way better at Korean restaurants. The pork belly bento box wasn't seasoned all that well and needed more salt and pepper. The power greens were a complete rip off and just pinches of vegetables, cucumbers were good, and the yum yum slaw was mayo covered power greens. Meh. The bad: milk tea boba. Goodness the milk tea was super watered down, and the boba was hard and tasteless. The hunt for good boba tea in Toledo continues. All in all, it exceeded expectations but my expectations were also pretty low coming into it. It was honestly a 3.5 but I downgraded to a 3 based on the fact that I wouldn't come back.
