Am Kai is pretty near KAI 10 Arthena Foundation. To try nicely cooked soup, duck and seafood is a truly good idea. The wine list is diverse, it can satisfy the needs of all clients. Guests don't highly appreciate espresso at this restaurant.
A lot of reviewers note that the staff is cute at this place. The good service is a great benefit of am Kai. In accordance with the visitors' opinions, prices are democratic. You will appreciate the homey decor and lovely ambiance of this place. But google users rated this spot and it didn't earn a high rating.

The service was very accommodating. Sushi is also top notch. The ambience and quality of the food are also at a high level. We find the quiet atmosphere very pleasant every time we visit. Unfortunately, the opening times on the website and here on Google do not seem to be correct. We reserved a table before 5 p.m. and found ourselves in front of completely closed doors despite reservation confirmation and a reminder from the restaurant. Nobody answered the phone either, which is a shame. It's best to adjust it.

We had a very nice evening at “Am Kai”. To explain, after the "Berens am Kai" is history, the restaurant is now called "Am Kai" and follows a different concept that at least completely convinced us. Very nice location at the harbor, fine food - high quality products, very well prepared. There was also a fine wine. Everything at a fair price. Incidentally, Mr. Berens himself was in the kitchen that evening and actively helped with the start of the new concept. The service was attentive, but there is still room for improvement here, but that doesn't change the very good overall impression.
