Always Incredible Food and Service at Bernie’s! Do not miss Bernie’s! This charming old micropub turned intimate restaurant serves truly incredible food and is run by a warm, welcoming team. We booked out the whole venue for a private dinner of 27 people, and the night was exceptional - everyone has been raving about the food since! I had the goat’s cheese and calamari starter and shared both the Thai green monkfish curry and the pork belly with a friend - all four dishes were outstanding. The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. A huge thank you to the chef and the team for accommodating us and delivering such a wonderful meal. The food here is consistently excellent and great value for money. This wasn’t my first visit either — I’ve also enjoyed the steak, panko prawns, cajun chicken and summer salad starter on a previous occasion, and I’ve never had a bad or even average dish here. It’s always a 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to be back - can’t recommend Bernie’s more highly! Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Easy to miss as it's a small venue slightly tucked away, but the food was first rate, the best steak I've had in ages. Desserts were also very tasty and the service was excellent. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
