During the last week of my trip to Phuket, I stumbled upon this hidden gem on Google Maps—and I can't believe I didn't find it earlier! The restaurant is run by Berry, the owner and head chef, whose passion and creativity shine through every dish. Her unique approach to fusion cuisine left me in awe with each bite. The 12-course tasting menu was absolutely delightful, but a few dishes stood out so much that I have to mention them: - Grilled Duck Breast: The duck is specially sourced from a farm in Bangkok and goes through a meticulous process of marinating, drying, and grilling. The result? A beautifully golden, plump duck breast with perfectly crispy skin. The moment it’s sliced, the juices burst out, and the meat inside is tender, flavorful, and completely free of any gamey taste. It’s salty, rich, and complex—a must-try! - Oysters: These are flown in fresh from France, and the texture is divine—plump and sweet. They’re paired with a secret Thai-style seafood sauce that’s served as a frozen granita. The sweet, sour, spicy flavors create an exhilarating sensation that awakens your taste buds. - Boiled Cabbage Soup: This seemingly simple dish turned out to be one of the most memorable. Berry explained it’s a recreation of an ancient Chinese imperial recipe. The broth, made from chicken and duck slow-simmered for 8 hours, is crystal clear and richly golden, strained using chicken breast to achieve its clarity. The magic happens when the hot broth is poured over a delicately carved “lotus flower” made from cabbage, which slowly blossoms in the bowl. It symbolizes prosperity, and the taste is just as stunning—pure, sweet, and refreshingly light. The atmosphere of the restaurant is tranquil and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind and savor the experience. This will undoubtedly be the first place I visit when I return to Phuket. If you’re looking to enjoy a masterfully crafted fusion of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Western flavors in one unforgettable meal, I highly recommend this restaurant. Just remember to make your reservation at least three days in advance! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
