DELICIOUS FOOD and DELICIOUS DESSERT! The food is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The fresh lemon water on tap is an added bonus! I also wish they had more food on the menu, but the food they do have is really exceptional, especially for this area. Definitely the best place to have breakfast in Watkins Glen or Corning or Painted Post or Elmira. I would know because I've tried as many diners as I could around her and this is by far the best breakfast. They even put edible flowers in your food!!!!Oh and I had to edit this review because I forgot to mention the SCONES. OUT OF THIS WORLD! The best Scone I've ever eaten.

Berta and Berta's cafe are two of the best things about upstate New York. You can't beat the homemade tortillas. This is my favorite place to eat within a 3 hour drive and it is right next to the Barry Family tasting room which has some of the best wines in the area too!
