Gutted to say, one of the worst chippys I've ever had. Had it a few times to give it a chance but everytime the fish was very thin and grey/brown and the batter was EXTREMELY thick & doughy, not crispy and bubbly as it should be. I’ve worked in catering, its not hard to sort your batter out. And its definitely on the pricey side, so you expect better. I live in Broughton and only heard one positive comment about the place so I really think you’re missing out and I’m gutted I now have to leave the village to get something decent. Pleeeeeeease get it sorted, its an easy fix. Absolutely 1st class service, food always hot and delicious. Fish light and crispy batter chips a genuine portion mushy peas ahh would highly recommend best plaice defo. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Recommended dishes: Cod
