Report incorrect information
Two attempts at Betsy, two disasters.
Round 1: We were first in line before opening. Told the counter was suddenly reserved for the “owner’s friends.” On a weeknight. Offered a seat maybe 1.5 hours later. We left.
Round 2: Made a reservation via Instagram (because you can’t call). They CONFIRMED it. Took our phone number. Then canceled the next day and didn’t bother calling. We only found out when we showed up and were told we didn’t have a reservation. Apparently they sent a DM.
When we (rightfully) got upset, the owner said he wasn’t interested in accommodating us and basically implied they’re too busy to care.
Disorganized. Arrogant. Zero accountability.
