I am 38 and I have a California digital license that is scannable. They said “due to policy we cannot serve you”. I can fly across the country and work with any bank and BevMo which is getting their lunch handed to them by Total Wine (was only there because I was waiting on takeout Chinese next door). They need to wake up to 2026.

Thank you for your feedback, Kevin! Currently the CA mobile driver's license is still in its pilot phase and is not accepted at all retailers. If the state chooses to fully adopt this option as the standard for all licenses, we'll be happy to review the policy then. Cheers!

I'm not a TW shill (see my review), but compared to TW, Bevmo stores are looking pretty shabby. TW beats their selection, beats their prices, and are just nicer, cleaner stores. I've shopped at Bevmo for years, but I haven't felt the need or desire to visit in a very long time, not since TW came to town. Bevmo! Wake up! Get in the game before it's too late!
