Very nice experience, grown up atmosphere . Love the music, and Brittany was EXCELLENT. Met the owner. Wonderful person and had a GREAT conversation. We will be back. We had tacos (chicken and salmon), greens (collard) and Mac n cheese. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50

Our first taste of Georgia and WOW We literally just flew in from Seattle for our first-ever trip to Georgia, and somehow we may have already found one of the highlights of our entire trip! We discovered Beyond BBQ through Instagram reviews and decided to give this new, family-owned restaurant in Morrow a try. This is a brand new place that just opened a month ago. From the moment we walked through the door, the Southern hospitality was every bit as incredible as the food. A huge shoutout to Mo, who took such amazing care of us. She was genuinely kind, gracious, and welcoming. She made us feel like we weren’t just customers, but guests invited to a family gathering. That kind of hospitality is something you remember, and we truly appreciated every bit of it. Now, let’s talk about the FOOD. We had the pork ribs, grilled shrimp, mac and cheese, and collard greens, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin. We learned that the dishes are based on the chef’s own personal recipes, and the chef himself was out greeting guests, chatting with everyone, and making sure people were enjoying their experience. That personal touch says so much about this place. The ribs were hands-down some of the best BBQ we have ever had. Incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and literally falling off the bone. The mac and cheese was out of this world, with the perfect balance of seasoning, richness, and flavor. The collard greens were absolutely to die for, freshly made and packed with so much flavor. And the grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. Not one thing on our plates missed. Not. One. Thing. The complementary homemade cornbread…what can I say?? Absolute The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with the perfect combination of an upscale atmosphere and Southern soul. But what really makes this place special is the people behind it. You can feel that this is a family-owned business where the food, the hospitality, and the experience genuinely matter. Coming all the way from Seattle, Washington, this was our very first meal in Georgia, and Georgia, you absolutely showed off! If this is what Southern hospitality and Southern cooking are all about, we are officially spoiled. Beyond BBQ set the bar incredibly high for the rest of our trip. To the entire family and team, thank you for welcoming us, feeding us incredibly well, and giving us such a memorable first experience in Georgia. We will absolutely be telling people about this place. If you’re anywhere near Morrow, GA, GO! Come hungry. You will not regret it.
