So, we went out Thursday evening at a local restaurant that we made reservations for. They overbooked and told us we had to wait for almost an hour! If you have been reading my posts you know who that was. O.K., we were hungry after a long day of work. My daughter, wife and I. So, we had noticed a few times Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano at The Naperville Crossing, Naperville. So we went here. Upon entering we were surprised how inviting and gorgeous this restaurant is. Ambiance was perfect. Overall noise level was low and you can hear your friends or and/or family talk to you in a normal voice! We started out with the bread, garlic olive oil and Parmesan cheese. The bread was delicious and warm! I had the Eggplant and Parmesan. Very tasty. Just like my little Italian Grandma made. Our group also had the Ravioli Quattro Formaggi and the Chicken Milano Salad. ALL very tasty. The service was impeccable. Emma was our hostess. She was terrific. We let her know this was our first time here. Of course, she welcomed us. She made suggestions and gave us ideas of what we might like to try. She was personable, attentive and funny. She made us laugh and just made the evening a lot better for us. Emma suggested for desert the Carmel Apple Cheesecake. Oh my gosh, to die for. It was nice and warm with Ice Cream. We ordered one. Was enough for the three of us. Word of warning, this is a HUGE portion and it at feeds three at least! It is a great place for families, dates, and a date night for couples. Dress is dressy up to formal. They also have a kids menu. We will be back. If your visiting Naperville and enjoy great Italian Food, you should try Biaggi's. You will not be disappointed. See if you can get Emma though. We thought she was terrific. Our rating; Highly recommended.
