I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and customer service I received. Two weeks ago, I received a Bialetti Moka pot as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, after only three uses, the product became unusable. A single drop of coffee spilled from the top of the pot during normal use, causing severe staining and damage to the exterior coating. I followed the instructions in the user manual and removed the pot from the stove immediately, yet the damage occurred within seconds. Given the reputation of the brand, I was surprised by the apparent lack of durability. I was even more concerned to discover that another customer had reported a very similar issue in a 2025 Amazon review for the same model, describing severe staining of the coating after only three uses. This suggests that my experience may not be an isolated incident and raises legitimate concerns about product quality. I contacted customer service expecting that the issue would be addressed under the company's stated two-year warranty. However, despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, my case was repeatedly closed, and responsibility for the defect was placed entirely on me. At no point was a meaningful investigation or satisfactory resolution offered. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that I was asked to provide proof of purchase containing my partner's personal information, yet this documentation ultimately appeared to have no impact on the outcome of the claim. This raises questions about the purpose and practical value of the warranty process if legitimate complaints are dismissed without proper consideration. The combination of a product failure after minimal use and an unsatisfactory customer service experience has significantly undermined my confidence in the brand. I would not recommend buying from Bialetti - I'd encpirage buyers to consider other more durable products instead.
