I've spent a month in Madrid and I ate every working day at the bicai. Most of the time we did take away, "para llevar" as Pablo would say. In a month I've never eaten twice de same plate. The menu changes every day always with some very good stuff. If you come for lunch you'll probably talk to Pablo who knows perfectly his restaurant. Even tough there are many people from 1pm to 3pm, all the staff are very quick and still very kind and nice. You won't wait too much for a seat, neither for you food. To resume it's a beautiful place, people are extremely kind, food is good, not expensive and it comes fast. I would recommend it to asbolutely everyone! Moreover if you want to talk a bit with the crew when there's time they are happy to have some words, even not in spanish! Incredible place, as you can see I loved it. If your road cross the one of Pablo, Roberto, or the one of a particularly strong guy (didn't get his name), I assure you it will be a pleasure. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Dietary restrictions: A friend of mine couldn't eat milk products and he had no problem eating at the Bicai, with many plates available for him. You just have to ask someone.
