I know the BiCE brand very well and have always associated it with an exceptional dining experience. BiCE in Milan has always been truly outstanding for me — in fact, it was once my absolute number one restaurant among all the restaurants I have visited worldwide. The food there has always been reliable, consistent, and of an exceptionally high standard. The former BiCE in New York was also excellent before it unfortunately closed, and BiCE Dubai continues to be a fantastic representation of the brand. Unfortunately, BiCE Doha was a disappointment. The arrabbiata did not taste the way it does in other BiCE locations — neither in flavour nor in execution. The presentation was also lacking, and the overall experience felt far below what I associate with this restaurant group. The reliability and excellence I expect from BiCE were simply not there. The restaurant itself was also not particularly special. The interior and atmosphere did not stand out and felt generic, without the character or refinement that defines BiCE elsewhere. Overall, this visit was disappointing precisely because my expectations for BiCE are so high. Having experienced how exceptional this restaurant can be — especially in Milan — BiCE Doha unfortunately did not live up to the standard that made me love this brand in the first place. Beautiful experience at Bice with amazing service from Ronnielyn. Felt so welcome and had the highly recommended dishes that did not disappoint! Can’t wait to come again!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: QAR 150–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
