The food at Krause's Cafe was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was nice and had a German Biergarten feel. We started off with a large Bavarian pretzel which was amazing. Unfortunately, none of us opted for any of the German dishes so we probably missed out on some amazing food but what we did have was great. I had the venison burger cooked to a perfect medium and my wife wanted something light so opted for the charcuterie board. The chicken strips were big, fries were delicious, and my daughter loved the Mac and cheese. We would definitely go back in the future. Our family came here for a birthday breakfast for a 6 year old at 10 am, the waitress took 30 min to get our drink orders, another 20 min to bring them back to us. We were then notified they refused service at 10:45 for breakfast, this has irritated the family at this point. One person in our party tried to resolve the issue which resulted in THE ENTIRE PARTY BEING KICKED OUT! As regular patrons here for years we did not expect this kind of service. Do not, DO NOT eat here unless you expect to have the absolute worst service you can find in New Braunfels. I suggest Fork & Spoon down the street, KINDER service, and a more REPUTABLE buisness. If I could give a 0 star OR worse I absolutely would. DO NOT GO HERE
