Always very tasty and great decoration. Often something unusual on the menu. Nice personel. We'll be there more often!

On the way to the Lugurian coast, an overnight stay in Inzlingen at the Hotel Krone (further review)! Unfortunately there were no tables available there, so we walked 500 m to the hotel/restaurant Zum Kranz. It was more than worth it! We ordered Jägerschnitzel with fries and pork medallions with chanterelles and spaetzle. Both dishes came with a salad side dish, which, given its size, would pass as a single salad if ordered alone. The dressing on the lettuce was a little too sour for us, but the rest was great. Whether carrots, beetroot (almost like a tartare), tomatoes etc, everything is fresh and well prepared. The Jagerschnitzel was not breaded (a bit confusing at first), tender as butter and served with a very fine mushroom sauce with (of course) fresh mushrooms without cream. Plus crispy fries with not too much salt. The pork medallions were still slightly pink, the chanterelle sauce felt like it had no ready-made broth and the homemade spaetzle probably had some kind of herb butter. For dessert, ice cream brule and Coppa Copenhagen. On top of that, the waitress and the mistress of the house, who both look after the guests very attentively and kindly. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back. Service: Dine in
