Let me start with I love Big Bear Lodge. The food and the atmosphere is always good. However, our waitresses not so good. We had a party of like 30 people. As a former server, the more people, the more you check on your table. You are taking care 30 peoples food and drinks. Multiple peoples drinks can go empty at one point. Or even one person. So you should be checking the table(s) constantly to cater to everyone’s need. Our waitresses did NOT do that. Took about 15 minutes to get one drink for a person. And believe it or not, one person at one of our tables didn’t ever get their food until everyone was practically done eating! After serving food, a couple minutes later, you check with your table and ask if everything is tasting alright. Our waitresses didn’t. Took 20 minutes until they visited our table again. We finally got to tell her someone never got their food. There were so many incidents of people not being helped. They need to train these waitresses better or something. Ruins the experience. Edit: Now, we had issues with the tab. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Buffalo Meatloaf
