It is a very nice place, we liked it very much.The food was gorgeous and the staff was very nice. I have now had lunch at Maranth at least 10 times. Delicious lunch dishes at fair prices. The Maranth sandwich is slightly spicy but definitely a favorite, the whole wheat bun with filet American is really great and I would like to take a 10 km detour for the wrap with salmon, really perfect. From the wide choice of homemade pastries, I only tasted the apple pie with almond paste and it was delicious. You get the latte machiato with a glass of whipped cream and a small dash of liqueur (18+). There are several good lunchrooms in Den Helder, but for me "BijMaranth" stands head and shoulders above the rest. I advise you to experience it quickly.
