Besides TSB Bank Arena, visit Bin44 in the vicinity. If you are fond of New Zealand cuisine, come to this bar. Cooks at Bin44 do their best to provide guests with tasty burgers, calamari and salmon. A lot of people say that waiters offer good chocolate mousse, ice cream and cheesecakes here. Delicious craft beer, house wine or draft beer are the best drinks of this place. It's nice to order great latte or good hot chocolate.

Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The success of this spot wouldn't be possible without the competent staff. Professional service is something clients agree upon here. Trying to find something open on Easter Monday for brunch was not exactly easy around the Wellington waterfront so we took a punt on Bin44 as it was open. We chose to sit outside as the heater was going and the music inside was unfortunately just a 'bit much' for that time of the morning. (However we got bitten by midgies sitting outside - Boo). The food was OK and our coffees arrived well after the food and unfortunately they were cold. (Should've sent them back but could not be bother waiting that long again for another one). Service overall was 2/5 - the young guys who were on, came across as though they just didn't want to be there. With hospitality 'doing it tough' at the moment, I would've thought that those working (managers or not) would make the most of every customer that they have coming through their doors - not pushing them away.
