We went there for the last order to have some cake and drinks. Cake-wise, we had the cheesecake, carrot cake, and pumpkin cake. All of them had the same “watery” texture, almost as if they were gummy or soggy. It might be due to the fact that they are gluten-free, but nonetheless, they were not the best cakes we’ve had. As for the atmosphere, the cafe is very nice, well located, and all the tea and coffee were very good: no complaints there. The staff was also very nice. In other words: a nice place for tea, but if you are looking for carrot cake, this is probably not the best place to go. After a long search for the right spot, I finally found Bio Cafe, and it was well worth the effort. Finding high-quality vegan options in the city can sometimes be a challenge, but this place absolutely nailed it. The food was incredible—truly awesome flavors that I’m still thinking about. Nice atmosphere and shop. I bought some cakes (months Blanche cupcake, taro pudding and a bagel), although they were gluten free and vegan they were tasteless. I was disappointed with them. The coffee was good but they don't do take away- so be aware. The staff were amazing and spoke good English . Thanks for you help in picking the correct food for me.
