First, I've never had a bad experience at any of their locations. I like this one because it's close to my house. I get the porkhouse sandwich. I've had other things from their menu, but the porkhouse just reminds me of home. Back at home we would have our meat and coleslaw all on the same bun and that way you really don't even need a paper plate. You just have to walk or stand up leaning very far forward to keep your boots clean. I called before I went and made sure that open carry is fine, and it is. Their booths actually have pictures of the pets of the people who work there. Next time I go I'm thinking about taking a picture of my dog and sliding it in just to see how long it takes them to notice. Everybody I spoke to was very polite and willing to help us. I don't know if they deliver, but I do know they have catering. Also, they have sweet tea. When I say sweet tea, I don't mean some weird version. I'm Southern and we are highly picky about our sweet tea. They had out some sweet tea that'll was not only the right strength and sweetness but it was slightly warm so you get that hot and cold effect in your mouth if you put it over ice. That's the best part. February 2024 Just more of the same! Very best BBQ and sides anywhere close to Oklahoma. Exceptional customer service, plenty of free parking, and always friendly - hungry customers. 5 Thumbs Up again. January 2024 A New year but absolutely not a new time for a different BBQ Restaurant by any means! Bird Dog BBQ still has the friendliest and most prfessional staff, the finest tasty BBQ, and affordable prices. I just can't stay away, and if ever there was a time to break a New Year's resolution on my dieting, Birddog Barbecue is the time and place to start. 5 Thumbs Up! June 15, 2023 Time for a BBQ update, and it's gonna be another winner! I was likely the 1st customer of the day and a bit early, but boy oh boy, was it ever fresh and tasty BBQ. I had been looking forward to this all rainy week long, and the Staff here does not disappoint. Friendly, professional, and always a 5 Thumbs Up event with these great BBQ folks. Staff here walks on water and eats fire in my book on Customer Service! Hey pardner, this is the Gold Standard for local BBQ! This is the best real homemade BBQ anywhere locally. We have found the Holy Grail for our future BBQ, beans, and potato salad. Clean, sanitary environment that is well stocked with friendly and courteous employees. 5 Thumbs Up! My husband and I tried lunch at Bird Dog Bbg.. It was ok my husband got the pulled pork sandwich.. And I got the brisket sandwich. it was meaty.. But both were very dry..not moist at all. I'll stick to Tickets thanks.This lunch was a disapointment.
