Different prices on the English menu. Ask for the Japanese menu!! When we walked in the bar I grabbed one of the Japanese menu’s on the counter. After a few minutes the barman noticed us being inside and rushed to us to grab the menu’s out of our hands and gave us an English menu. I noticed that the English menu had different prices than the Japanese one. For example, a draught beer was 700 YEN on the Japanese menu and 1100 YEN on the English one. Also, the cocktails were much more expensive. When we left the place the guys behind the bar started laughing at us without any shame. What a scam this bar, birth of scams is what it is.

Thank you for visiting our store. I'm sorry for making you feel sad. The price was different because the table charge was 700 yen for Japanese people, and 700 yen for draft beer. The total bill is 1400 yen However, foreigners do not have a table charge. Instead, we make draft beer 1000 yen. You can drink alcohol cheaper than the price of a Japanese drink.
