After you have seen Museum of the High Plains Historical Society, come to this restaurant. Try good bison meat and nicely cooked burgers. The nice staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Google users awarded Bison Cafe 4.6.

Says open but u drive off highway hard to find ...get there store hours they close from 2 to 4 ...change web site hours ..so much for trying smaller buisness when driving thru

We came in just as breakfast was ending on Sunday. They have one special on Sunday and that's fried chicken. It was very good very big portions you got two pieces of chicken (white or dark your choice), two rolls, green beans, mashed potatoes, a little thing of coleslaw, and then dessert and a drink for $16 and change. The girl that was serving us was very friendly and telling us all about how it was good truck and now they've been in this building since March. Definitely go again. They said they were working on gluten-free options they did have people that brought in their own gluten-free buns to have like a burger. But on a regular days I think she said they weren't open 2 days out of the week but they're open the rest of the time and they got pizzas and burgers and they close for like an hour like at 3:00 and then open back up. We drove past at the first time but it's there next to Fox theater on the left side. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free street parking Parking: 402 Norris avenue the keystone building next to Fox theater.

What a great spot in downtown McCook! I was visiting family in town and they took me to the Bison Cafe for lunch! They had a great menu, with tempting burgers, but I went with the pizza. This was one of the best pizza crusts I’ve ever had (the owner’s own recipe I believe??)! If you’re a local, or just passing through town, give this cafe a try!
